Game App at the Sumitomo Pavilion?

A Game to Learn About Forests and Wildlife

At the Sumitomo Pavilion, visitors can take part in PLANT A TREE, a hands-on experience to help create forests for the future.
What many may not know is that participants can also enjoy a special game app designed just for this activity.

In the game, you can gather acorns and mushrooms, answer quizzes, and search for signs of wildlife—all while learning about the forest and its inhabitants in a fun, interactive way.

CollaborationAnyone can code, anyone can be a creator

This unique game was created using Springin’, a creative programming app developed by SHIKUMI DESIGN Inc.

Springin’ allows anyone to easily create games or digital picture books using a smartphone or tablet—no prior coding knowledge required. The games can then be shared and enjoyed by others.

We reached out to Springin’ for a collaboration, believing it would be a perfect fit for our forest-themed activities designed for the next generation.

This game was created by our team at SHIKUMI DESIGN Inc. using the app ”Springin’”. We’ve packed tablet screens with immersive forest adventures—collecting acorns, finding mushrooms, and spotting forest creatures.

If children visiting the pavilion think,
“Wow, you can make something like this on a smartphone?”
“I want to try making one too!”
—that would make us very happy.

Springin’ is a tool that nurtures creativity and discovery through playful creation. We hope that the experience at the Sumitomo Pavilion will spark someone’s very own creative journey.
